In January 2007, Year 5 visited @ Bristol Science Museumfor the first time. Here are journal excerpts from two pupils:
"As we walked in I saw the most wonderful blue sky gradually turning dark and stars started to appear shining brightly. It was beautiful and it felt almost real. When everyone was in, the guide began telling some fascinating facts all about famous constellations such as The Plough and the North Star which you can find if your draw a straight line from The Plough. Also we saw the most famous constellation, Orion the Hunter with his belt and the star on his shoulder, Betelgeuse. The planetarium was amazing and we certainly saw a lot of stars!"
