In Year 3 children visit Hazard Alley, a huge safety education centre near Milton Keynes.  The girls, in small groups, take part in safety scenarios to help them learn about different aspects of safety.  They learn how to make a 999 call, how to escape from a burning building, cross a road safely, to keep off frozen lakes, how to spot the possible dangers in a farmyard, petrol station, in the home, on a building site and in a hazardous alley.
