Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHEE)

Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education is delivered throughout the school and each year group follows a prescribed programme. Our aim is to support the children in their personal development and citizenship, to promote fundamental British values, to encourage respect for democracy and also respect and tolerance for others.

The PSHEE programme at The Manor is delivered through discussion, games, rôle play, the arts, whole school focus days (such as Culture Day) and weeks (such as Anti-bullying Week) and class visits. Regular guest speakers in our assemblies further enhance the children’s personal development.

The principles outlined above are woven throughout the curriculum and addressed at all appropriate opportunities in order to reinforce their importance and relevance to our children’s lives.
