Tuesday 16 May – Bonjour les parents!
We are having a fantastic time in France. After our first authentic ‘petit déjeuner’, we have started our morning of activities in glorious French weather – canoeing for some, abseiling and fencing for others. The girls are embracing all the different challenges with typical Manor spirit and are enjoying themselves! Can’t wait to go to the snail farm in the afternoon…

… Ooh la la! Les escargots sont délicieux! The girls really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of snails before handling the slimey 12,000 toothed hermaphroditic gastropods! Then it was dégustation time: everyone tried…with varying opinions! Tonight the Crêperie will definitely please everyone! We have all had a fantastic sunny day. A bientôt!

Wednesday 16 May
Lovely afternoon at the Juno Beach Centre. Managed to avoid the rain whilst visiting the bunkers, beach and museum. Excellent tours by native Canadians, passionate about their countrymen’s part in D-Day. Looking forward to tomorrow – market visit in the morning and activities in the afternoon.

Thursday 17 May
The market at Evron this morning was damp but not our spirits as we shopped for Britain! Many excellent pressies purchased for family members and French practised. Canoeing, fencing and abseiling next after lunch.
