Prep Department

As our boys leave us at the end of the Pre-Prep years, our girls prepare to move on to our Prep Department, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.  Year 3 is a further point of entry for girls to join The Manor.  Years 3 and 4 are housed in the Middle School where classrooms sit around a central ICT suite.  In addition to the specialist teaching provided in the Pre-Prep Department, in Year 4 girls take their science lessons in a spacious laboratory, taught by the Head of Science, Mrs Lise Price.  In Years 5 and 6 the girls have a Form Teacher whom they see regularly each day; twice for registration, PSHE lessons and some all important form time at the end of the day.  This session is designed for girls to return to their base to share daily experiences, receive reminders for the following day and voice any concerns before leaving for home.  These girls become independent and confident around the school site, using their organisational skills in preparation for senior school.
