France 09Thursday 25 June: Everyone is well and happy!  The trip to the Biscuiterie yesterday was fantastic!  They learnt the procedure of making biscuits in French and had to translate it.  There was a smell of freshly baked biscuits that made everyone sniff the air.  They made their own shapes out of dough; it was delicious to eat freshly baked cookies.

All had great fun on beach yesterday.  It was very windy but everyone had lots of fun.  Some went crab catching, some played rounders, whilst others built sandcastles.  They went swimming too.  The sun is still shining!

Tania had a lovely birthday yesterday and had lots of presents from family and friends.  They played party games in the evening and Tania did a show and tell of her presents.

The girls are off to Honfleur today.

Wednesday 24 June: All is fine. Today is Tania’s birthday – she is going to do 'Show and Tell' of her presents!  They are visiting a Biscuit Factory this morning in two groups.  Yesterday they had a 'build a sandcastle' competition which was great fun.  Everyone is having a lovely time.  They will try to send a photograph later to put on the website.

Tuesday 23 June:  The weather has been glorious.  Yesterday they visited the museum, Bayeux, the cathedral and went to the beach.  Everyone is well and the behaviour of the pupils is impeccable.  Today they will visit the market and then go to the beach again as the weather is so good.
