Fundraising

Friends of the Manor (FOTM) is committed to raising funds that will benefit the school and ultimately its pupils, and/or external charities, particularly those benefiting children.
With your help FOTM has raised a total of £11,713 for our chosen charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. This total was made up of funds raised from the Sponsored Walk, the FOTM Summer Ball auction, Sports Day refreshment sales and the FOTM Christmas Charity Gift Fair. The amount is more than enough to pay for the training and placement of a hearing dog, and will make a real difference to the life of a severely or profoundly deaf person. The cheque was presented to the charity in a special assembly in February 2012, click here for the full story.
Recent Successes
Last year with your kind support we raised over £10,000. The money enabled us to purchase the new state-of-the-art lighting rig in the hall, lending an extra dimension of professionalism to our children’s many plays, services and performances. We also donated outdoor gazebos for the sports field, planters for outside the mobile classrooms and netball tops for The Manor girls.
Thanks to you we were able to donate almost £3,000 to the charity Farms for City Children, as well as £180 to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Without you none of this could happen. We thank you for your kind support and depend upon your continued generosity.
