Cooking in Reception

The Reception children have been enjoying lots of cookery this week as they are talking and thinking about Harvest time.

The children first made Damper Bread at Forest School by squashing the dough on to sticks which Mrs Dashwood cooked over the campfire.  It tasted yummy with jam or honey!
Later in the week, the children enjoyed making and tasting soup. They selected their own ingredients, chopped them up and added them to the soup maker. In no time at all they were all sampling their very own delicious soup. Yummy!
