Great Performances at Mercia Area Athletics Championships 2017
On 22 June, The Manor took an Athletics team to compete in the Mercia Athletics Championships at Tilsley Park in Abingdon. Our team of 6 girls performed brilliantly and with the determination that we have come to expect of our Manor children. Huge congratulations to Erin F who finished 2nd in the 1500m race earning herself a place at National Finals which will take place on 4 July at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. Our relay team did amazingly well to finish 7th out of 17 teams – with only 8 making it through to the Final. This is when The Manor girls exceeded expectations to finish an incredibly impressive 3rd overall, and just missing out on a place at Nationals (the first two teams to finish went through).
