Team Manor runs the Oxford Town and Gown

13th May 2019

It was a sunny Sunday morning when Team Manor, children, parents and staff, descended upon Oxford University Parks to take part in the Oxford Town and Gown race. The race happens every year in the centre of Oxford and raises money for the charity Muscular Dystrophy UK.
The children’s 3k race was first, it was great to see so many Manor pupils, past and present, taking part. This was followed by the adults 10k race with over 5000 runners competing. A very big well done to all those who ran the race for Team Manor and a big thank you to all the supporters cheering along the route.

The first member of Team Manor to cross the finish line was Year 5 Form Teacher, Mr Read, in 14th place with a staggering time of 34.09 minutes!

Go Team Manor!
