Year 1 Space Morning

21st November 2016

Year 1 have been learning all about space and were very lucky to have a visit from the National Space Academy and Satellite Applications Catapult.

See the photos here.

The children were blown away by all the space facts and learnt all about what satellites are and how often we use them in day to day life. We all then made our very own satellite. This inspired the children to ask some wonderfully challenging questions and the teachers were very grateful to have the professionals there to answer them!
