Creative Arts Festival 2021

Showcasing work from the whole school in Creative Arts,

following the subject of “Journeys”.

Year 6

Year 6 have been working on a financial awareness topic culminating in planning a holiday using spreadsheets

As part of their WWII History lessons, girls were tasked with researching what an evacuee might take if they were to travel to the safety of the countryside, and then be as creative as they could with packing their ‘suitcase’!

Year 4

Children in Year 4 have created Aboriginal art inspired by Stories from the Billabong… tales passed from generation to generation on a word of mouth journey.

Year 2

Miranda is shipwrecked on an island and Children in Year 2 have made models to help her find other people

Year 1

Children have been making collage fruit baskets from paper and material.

We started our journeys by going on a magical carpet ride… the children then decided where they wanted to go.

Standing in paint wearing welly boots and walking on big paper to show a walking journey, Children in Nursery have used different welly boot patterns and colours to do this. They have also been enjoying our bus role play area and taking their friends on different journeys.
