Four Manor pupils entered the UK Bebras Challenge, an online international competition that requires children to apply their computational thinking and logic skills to a set of problems.
Arabella F in Y3 competed in the Kits category for ages 6-8. She was awarded a certificate of merit with a score 23 points above the national average.
Y5 pupils, Ariadne Z, Alex H and Amelia H competed in the Castors category for ages 8-10.
When comparing UK-wide results of just under 16,000 entrants, Ariadne achieved 27 points higher than the national average and was awarded a certificate of participation.
Alex was awarded a certificate of merit for attaining 54 points above the national average, whilst Amelia attained 100% in the challenge and has been awarded ‘Best in School’.
