Clubs

There is never a dull moment at The Manor and our extra-curricular provision is designed to engage and inspire children beyond the classroom.

Every term we offer in excess of 80 clubs per week, for all children from Year 1 to Year 6.  Some run in the morning but the majority take place at lunchtime or after school. Clubs cover Music, Sport, Art, D&T, Drama, Cookery, Computing, Languages and anything which we feel will capture the children’s interest; we believe that offering a broad and dynamic variety of activities encourages the children to adopt a ‘have a go’ attitude and to be open to new experiences.

Our extra-curricular clubs are included in the termly school fees, with only two exceptions; Ballet and Judo (where the children are working through grades). All activities are run with great enthusiasm by both external and internal staff, giving children the opportunity to learn new skills and have a lot of fun along the way.

All Reception children participate in an enrichment afternoon as part of the core school day. This gives pupils the opportunity to try an array of extra-curricular activities which may, in later year groups, be run as clubs.
