How to Apply

The Admissions Process

1. Visit Us

The admissions journey usually begins with a visit to the school. Book in for one of our Open Events or request a Private Visit (in person or virtual).

2. Register

The next step is to submit a completed Registration Form and pay the registration fee in order for your child’s name to be added to our list for your chosen point of entry.  New pupils are considered in registration date order.

3. Taster Day/Visit

Once registered we will organise a Taster Day/Visit for your child.  The Taster is a vital part of our admissions process; we meet every child before formally offering a place at the school. As a part of their Taster, children joining Years 1 to 6 will sit a short, informal assessment.

4. Offer

All being well, the Taster Day/Visit will be followed by a formal offer of a place.

5. Acceptance

You will be asked to accept via completion of the Acceptance Form and payment of the Acceptance Deposit.

6. Join the School

There will be a few online new joiners forms to complete and then we will look forward to welcoming you to the Manor family!

Please note that this process applies to all applicants, from Pre-Nursery to Year 6.  For more information, please see our Admissions Policy.

We feel so lucky to have found The Manor School for our two children. It’s a low key, friendly environment full of fantastic opportunities. Our daughters have been individually supported by all the staff educationally and pastorally to a very high standard. As a result they are keen to learn, take new challenges in their stride and adore going to school every day. The staff are an exceptionally happy team and we value highly the strong collaboration links they have with us as parents. We have recommended The Manor to many families and we will continue to do so.
