We recognise that the end of a school term doesn’t signal an automatic stop point for most families. With the majority of Manor parents working outside of education, limited holiday entitlement can make school holidays challenging to cover. To us, this doesn’t provide a problem but a wonderful opportunity for us to further enhance the offer to the children in our care, whilst helping solve a headache for parents. What makes our programme unique are several key factors:

Our comprehensive holiday provision means, alongside term time too, we offer cover for 90% of the year for families.

Our offer includes all children from ages 2-11, providing a one stop shop for families with even the youngest learners.

Much of our holiday provision is staffed by the adults the children know and who, crucially, know them. For our Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception children, the full provision is staffed by adults who know and understand their needs.

It is entirely flexible meaning you can build the package that works for your family rather than being locked into a year-round contract for younger learners, or left with big gaps.

Manor Fun
Manor Fun is the core component of our holiday provision. It is run and staffed by those who work at, have worked at or have strong connections with The Manor, linking to the importance for us of a true family feel. The staff involved absolutely love their time working at Manor Fun which feeds the atmosphere for the children who attend. With a wide and varied programme of activities, the children have the opportunity to do everything from picnics at Abbey Meadows, to skateboarding workshops, chocolate making sessions, outside play and everything in between both on and off site.
For our children in Year 1 upwards, Manor Fun covers 7 weeks of the holidays, with an additional 5 weeks being covered by Manor Adventures. For our Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception children, the Mini Manor Fun format continues for the full 12 weeks of holiday cover on offer keeping a successful, consistent yet varied and engaging offer for them.
Manor Fun is not only distinctive in the varied programme and high-quality offer, but by the fact that these weeks are not open to anyone outside of the Manor community. As a school, this isn’t about a money-making venture but about providing an outstanding, safe, comfortable and enjoyable offer for the children that parents can have absolute confidence in. That means your children can participate confident they are with other children they know and that, as parents, you are confident in the environment and ethos of the provision. It is Manor through and through!
Mini Manor Fun for under 5s
Our littlest learners (Pre-Nursery – Reception) have the most wonderful time at Mini Manor Fun which extends across 12 weeks of the holidays in addition to term time. This provides families with coverage for 90% of the year. What the children benefit from is a core team of Manor staff who know each individual extremely well. This is even more crucial for our youngest children who can’t always express themselves as easily as the older children. The core team will know all the little individual quirks for each child from what comforts them when they are feeling wobbly, to their favourite activities, what their sleep and toileting routines are and everything in between. Our commitment is to provide a home from home holiday provision that means parents don’t need to worry and the children have the most fantastic time.
What differs to term time is that the schedule is more relaxed without timetabled sessions, focusing instead on an engaging theme for which wide and varied activities are planned. These are carefully curated alongside the Early Years teaching teams to ensure they complement term time learning, further building skills, knowledge and experiences. These will include, where appropriate, visitors and specialist workshops whilst being mindful of the age of the children and the importance of child initiated activities.
Mini Manor Fun offers complete flexibility, allowing families to book as much or as little holiday provision as suits their needs. Whether you require occasional days or regular care throughout the holidays, you can create a package that works for your family.
Designed specifically for younger children, we provide a trusted alternative at a stage when high-quality external holiday camps can be difficult to find. Children enjoy their time in a familiar environment, cared for by the staff they know, whilst benefiting from the same exceptional standard of care and education they experience during term time. This flexible approach means you can enjoy family time whenever you choose, without financial penalties or losing your child’s place. The result is the reassurance of almost year-round nursery provision, combined with the
outstanding quality of an independent education and the flexibility to fit around your family’s lifestyle.
Manor Adventures
Manor Adventure provides an additional 5 weeks of holiday camp provision for children in Year 1-6. This exciting element builds a programme of bespoke, specialist camps for children aged 5 and over. Ranging from things such as Lego to science and engineering, sport and the arts, the programme changes and evolves each year. This offers children some great opportunities to engage with external specialists for a focused week of fun and learning. It could be something new or familiar to the children but they will enjoy really throwing themselves into the camps chosen.
Unlike Manor Fun, these weeks are hosted by external specialists to ensure the highest quality focused weeks. The children also have the opportunity to enjoy making new friends as the camps welcome children from outside The Manor.
