Harvest Festival, a time when crops are gathered and we give thanks for the food that we have, was observed and celebrated in a few ways this year. We had another large haul of food donations for the Abingdon Foodbank. Mr Thomas led an insightful assembly reminding of us the importance of Harvest time and this was followed by a lively rendition of a Harvest song by the Early Year’s pupils. In Science, KS1 and 2 pupils participated in Harvest Live 2023 where they learnt the science of cultivating and harvesting the ingredients used to make delicious Thali.
