Year 3 children were treated to a ‘Petit Déjeuner à la Française’! They used their best French to order their breakfast items: from croissants and pains au chocolat, to brioche ‘avec de la confiture à la fraise’, washed down with some ‘chocolat chaud’ – délicieux! To make this event even more memorable, the children were allowed to dress up in outfits that celebrated the French culture: as well as the colours of the French flag, we had a giant Tour Eiffel, a couple of French fries, Marie Curie, Kylian MBappé and Ousmane Dembélé, chefs from Ratatouille, a cyclist from the Tour de France, a ballerina, Coco Chanel, Jean Valjean from Les Mis, and even Mona Lisa on loan from Le Louvre! The children and their teachers had a wonderful time – bravo, les enfants!
