Here at The Manor there is a wonderfully happy, creative atmosphere. The exceptionally caring and invigorating tone of the school ensures that children really do beam with happiness: they are delightfully self-confident and articulate. Laughter is an essential part of the school day in our community where children are both cherished and challenged.

With a fine Georgian manor building at its heart, and set in extensive grounds on the outskirts of Abingdon, our school has a wide range of award-winning purpose built classrooms and enviable specialist facilities. We have dedicated and professional staff supported by an enthusiastic and committed Board of Governors. The warm-hearted ethos of The Manor is very special indeed: the children really do flourish and are very well prepared - in the widest possible sense - for their future lives.

Wow, have the girls been active or what?  The week of the 22nd February was extremely hectic as far as the girls’ sporting activities were concerned and so we started with a slightly smaller team than normal going to The Dragon on the Monday.  Georgie V came second in the U9 race and Sasha H won the U10 race.  Fantastic team running from all of the girls especially the U9 who all finished as a pack.  Read more...

Year 6 visit the John Radcliffe Hospital

Watching the girls from Year Six confidently operating the Automated External Defibrillator after a morning’s training on the Injury Minimization Programme for Schools was a real privilege.  The girls worked together on resuscitation techniques, the recovery position and accident prevention, as well as learning about immediate action drills after accidents have happened.  We are all now in safe hands!  We would like to thank Mrs. Horrox for arranging such a valuable visit.
