We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day with a cosy bedtime story theme. The children looked very happy in their snuggly PJs and were treated to a fun assembly lead by the great team of Year 6 Pupil Librarians. There was much laughter as we tried matching baby photos to members of staff…
Our Pancake Race assembly was a batter filled spectacle of chaos and comedy! Pancakes were flying in all directions; some flipped beautifully, others took unexpected detours onto heads, floors and even a teacher’s shoe. The crowd cheered, the contestants scrambled and the pancakes… well, most of them survived. Just about!
