school children in a PE lesson

Sport & PE

Due to the children’s age in Pre-Prep, they are continuing to develop fundamental movement skills and learning to perform as an individual.

All Games and PE lessons are delivered by our four full-time PE staff, and with the additional assistance of other Manor staff for Games, all of who are passionate about Physical Education.

To complement the curriculum, sports clubs are open to all and are run before school, at lunchtime and after school.

Our facilities include a multi-purpose field, generously catering for numerous sports pitches, outdoor tennis and netball courts, and a new, state of the art Sports Hall.

In the Autumn and Spring Terms the children continue to participate in their multi-skills programme as a progression from Early Years. They are also introduced to gymnastics, and dance. During the Summer Term, the children explore athletics with a focus on Sports Day at the end of the term.
