The whole school has been having great fun creating artwork for the Young Art Oxford Competition 2016.
The theme this year was ‘What Makes Me Laugh’ and the team of school selectors (including Mr Heyworth) had a wonderful chuckle as they chose work for entry. We all agreed the standard was very high and, as a result, we have the largest entry of work for some time!
A total of 60 pieces will now go into the Young Art selection process; a challenging stage, as there are over 3000 entries from all over Oxfordshire into this popular competition. We wish our fantastic artists lots of luck and look forward to seeing some of their work on exhibition in The Ashmolean in May 2016.
