U11 Footballers play at Northampton Town

3rd June 2016

During the May half term our U11 Footballers travelled to Northampton Town Football Club to play in the first ever girls Cobblers Cup.

It was a rainy day on the pitch, but that didn’t dampen Team Manor’s spirits as they played some very strong rivals to secure themselves a third place position. It was the first time for many of the girls to play on a professional football pitch, a memory they will be able to cherish for years to come.

Many thanks to Manor Parent, Mr Meadowcroft and to Mrs Forbes-Smith for accompanying the team.
