On Sunday, between sunshine and showers, parents, staff and friends of The Manor met for the annual Golf Day at Frilford Heath Golf Club.
Andrew Davisson, Wayne Hawkins, Greg Humphreys and Andrew Oultram were the winning team, closely contended by Mr Heyworth’s team (also including Sarah Heyworth, Matthew Batstone and Chris Gifford).
Andrew Davisson took home the Individual Winner’s trophy, with Wayne Hawkins as Individual Runner-up. Dominic Harding was awarded champagne for his outstanding longest drive, Chris Gifford and Wayne Hawkins for nearest the pin in two shots. Greg Humphreys and Andrew Davisson also won nearest the 18th in two shots. The winning team had an overall great day, scooping up a medley of prizes and champagne between them.
Joined by partners and children, the convivial spirit continued over post-match drinks and nibbles ensuring a very happy end to the weekend. Thanks to all who took part in making this happy event such a glorious success.
