We recently had an enormous treat when Graffiti Classics came to entertain us with their unique performance style.
With the underlying message of ‘classical music is fun’, the children in Years 3-6 took part in workshops throughout the day where they had the opportunity to learn about the instruments and did some singing with the band. In the workshop for our strings players the band had them up and dancing around whilst playing – even the cello players had a go!
The day was finished off with a free concert to parents and children, and what a treat it was! Jam-packed with music, jokes and audience participation, it was thoroughly enjoyed by parents and children alike. A wonderful way to end the week.
