Young Art Oxford Begins

17th February 2017

The Manor’s Senior Leadership Team have taken on the monumental task to select a shortlist of pupils’ artwork to enter into Young Art Oxford 2017.

See a selection of the entries on the Art and DT page.

All of the entries were of an incredibly high standard and they have managed to narrow the shortlist down to 77 individual pieces of artwork, all on the theme of ‘The World We Live In’. All entries which haven’t made the shortlist are currently being exhibited in the Art Room and Dining Room for the next two weeks, please take a look. The artwork by our pupils showed a real love and respect for the world we live in, with some very thoughtful and provoking art.

The shortlisted works will now be sent to Young Art Oxford for judging and we wait with excitement to find out who will have the honour of having their work exhibited at the prestigious Ashmolean Museum this May.
