Culture Day

11th October 2017

This week saw great excitement at The Manor as we immersed ourselves into everything Kenya for Culture Day.

See the photos here

We started the day with our special guests, The Osiligi Maasai Warriors, joining us for assembly. They shared with us a little taste of their culture, including singing, dancing and even hunting a Lion! There was even time for the famous Maasai jumping!

The rest of the day was spent exploring Kenyan life through art, drama and music. Some lucky children even had the chance to taste Kenyan food! It was a fantastic day, one which I know the children, staff and parents who joined us for the afternoon performance will remember for a very long time.
