On Thursday 8 February, The Manor was invited to take part in the biannual ‘Festival de Français’ at Chandlings.
The children in Year 4, dressed in the colours of the French flag, performed a song called ‘La Chanson du Non-Sens’, which was all about phonics in French, and our three bilingual pupils recited a French poem. Everyone sang beautifully in their best French accent and made us very proud.
Other local schools took part and we had a fun morning celebrating the French language through songs, sketches and poems. Bravo et merci, les filles!
