Year 6 travelled to Stratford-Upon-Avon this week to enjoy a two day visit to the home of the Bard.
Successful visits to Shakespeare’s birth place and Anne Hathaway’s cottage gave us great insight into life in Elizabethan times and complemented our English work beautifully. Excellent workshops allowed us to present a play to the public in the grounds of his birthplace, some of us even providing musical accompaniment!
Following a delicious meal at the famous Dirty Duck, we excitedly took our seats for the hilarious performance of Twelfth Night. All enjoyed the experience and agree that “the King doth keep his revels here tonight!”
