It was a gloriously sunny day which only added to the wonderful atmosphere of friendly competition which bubbled through The Manor party.
After four hours of golf, a well-earned cold beverage and some serious totting-up, the winning team of Chris Gifford, Steve McGuckin, Anita Stokes and Mark Stokes was announced. The Best Individual Performance prize also went to Steve McGuckin who had a rather successful day.
A special mention should also be made of Richard Jenkins who took part in a club competition in the morning before joining The Manor event and played a total of 36 holes!
