Year 5 had a fantastic visit to the River Pang in Bradfield as part of their Geography study of rivers.
See the photos here
The first job upon arrival was to slip into a huge pair of waders before boarding the tractor for a ride to the river.
Once they were in the river they carried out activities such as measuring the width, depth and flow rate of the river. They also did some fishing using nets and there was great delight when a variety of wildlife including some particularly large crayfish were caught!
