Stepping back in time, Year 3 were immersed in living history on Thursday as they became Celts during our new trip to Ufton Court.
They learnt to weave willow to make the walls of mini roundhouses, produce a bow and arrow in readiness for hunting before donning Celtic symbol war paint, shields and axes to fight against the Romans in an afternoon of fearless battle and military manoeuvres! A fantastic fun-filled day with lots of happy memories. Many thanks also to all the parents who accompanied our trip.
