Kung Hei Fat Choi!

14th February 2019

On Monday during assembly the children in Nursery and Reception shared some of the things they had been doing to celebrate Chinese New Year.

See some of the photos here

There was a bright and beautiful selection of craft activities, ranging from lanterns to colourful dragons and wonderful printings and paintings of the New Year story. We used ordinal language to describe the positions the different animals came in the big race and a group of children showed us how they could count in Chinese.
We all learnt how to greet our friends in Chinese and say Happy New Year.
