Maths Challenge Success

22nd March 2022

Maths Challenge

On Thursday 17 March, 4 children from Year 5 spent the afternoon taking part in a Maths Challenge held at Cranford House School. It was a brilliant afternoon with lots of mind-boggling Maths!

Working in pairs, the Year 5 mathematicians tackled a series of challenging tasks which tested their problem solving and reasoning skills.

30 pairs represented 12 schools so the competition was tough! All four of the Manor Prep mathematicians performed brilliantly and they should be incredibly proud of their efforts.

The results were:
Amelia and Martha finished 2nd overall.
Alex and Tomi finished 7th overall.

What a fantastic achievement! A huge well done to Amelia, Martha, Alex and Tomi.
