During the Summer Term, Year 5 and Year 6 students participated in the online UK Junior Mathematical Challenge. This is a national competition with schools up and down the country taking part. We have now received the results and we are very proud of all of the students that took part in the challenge.

Of those receiving gold awards, Amelia, Martha and Clément have been invited to compete in the “Kangaroo” round. They will sit these rounds at school next week!
The United Kingdom Mathematics Trust is a registered charity committed to advancing the education of young people in mathematics. The Junior Mathematical Challenge is a 60-minute, multiple-choice competition aimed at students across the UK. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. The problems on the Junior Mathematical Challenge are designed to make students think.
Well done to all pupils who tackled the Maths Challenge; they worked incredibly hard and demonstrated some excellent determination!
