Chinese New Year Celebrations

3rd February 2025

Last week we celebrated Chinese New Year. Year 1 and 2 listened to the story of the animals of the zodiac. We also found out about some of the traditions that children in our school, and around the world, participate in and celebrate each year. We were very lucky to have a visit from Mrs Muddiman who led some workshops with us and we also made some lovely decorations.

Where Next

We are delighted to see our Year 6 pupils moving on to a fantastic variety of outstanding Senior Schools and, this year, we are also celebrating an astonishing number of scholarships.  Our year group of 53 children has gained an impressive total of 28 awards between them across a variety of disciplines, ranging from Academic to Sport, Art and Music. Well done Year 6!
