IAPS Netball Nationals 2017

14th March 2017

Netball
Having qualified at the Regional Round just a week before, our Manor IAPS U11 Netball Team were so excited to compete and represent The Manor on the ‘big stage’ of the National Netball Finals which took place this year in Basildon on Friday 10 March 2017.

They, again, were in a pool of 10, playing 9 matches round robin. The standard of the competition at this level naturally went up a notch and our girls responded to the challenge very well indeed. We had one match in the middle where the team found themselves in panic mode which caused them to make some costly errors. After that though, the team immediately adopted a resilient approach, taking their game to another level for the remainder of the day and playing their best ever netball! The results were 4 wins and 5 losses. Our wins were very convincing ones, and apart from one game, the losses were only by 1 or 2 goals.

We can proudly label ourselves as a worthy contender at the National level finishing in the top 24 Nationwide from 234 schools across the Regions.
