Prep Personal, Social, Health & Economic Education (PSHEE)

Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHEE) is delivered throughout the school and each year group follows a prescribed programme. Our aim is to support the children in their personal development and citizenship, to promote fundamental British values, to encourage respect for democracy and also respect and tolerance for others.

The PSHEE programme at The Manor is delivered through discussion, games, rôle play, the arts, whole school focus days (such as Culture Day) and weeks (such as Anti-bullying Week). Regular guest speakers in our assemblies further enhance the children’s personal development.

The principles outlined above are woven throughout the curriculum and addressed at all appropriate opportunities in order to reinforce their importance and relevance to our children’s lives.

Where Next

School Closed

In line with Government advice and in conjunction with schools up and down the country, we are very sorry that until further notice, The Manor Preparatory School is closed, although we are operating a skeleton staff at this time for children of our Key Worker families. Although our doors may be closed, our lines of communication remain very firmly open and if you have an admissions enquiry or a general school query, please use the following number 07906 848945 which will be manned between 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with the facility to leave a message if required. We look forward to welcoming back our children as soon as possible.
