Chamber Choir Triumphs

13th February 2018

Chamber Choir took to the stage at Rye St Antony School on Saturday 3 February to compete in the Oxford Music Festival. They sang their two pieces, “For the Beauty of the Earth” and “It Don’t Mean a Thing” with fantastic musicality and gusto and they impressed the adjudicator so much that he awarded them 1st prize in their category!
He particularly enjoyed the quality of their sound which he described as “fresh and bright” and he was very impressed with their teamwork and sense of fun. We are immensely proud of the girls for their achievement and we are looking forward to giving another performance of the pieces at The Manor Concert!
