Remembrance Day 2020

9th November 2020

Lest We Forget

On Monday 9 November, The Manor Prep School started its day with its annual Remembrance Day assembly, this time held remotely via Google Meet.

Mr Thomas led the assembly in which he reminded the children of why we take a moment every November to remember those who gave their lives in previous wars, and to those who continue to do so.

During the assembly, Chamber Choir performed the hymn Be Still for the Presence of The Lord, Tess in Year 6 led the school in a prayer, and Gisèle in Year 6 performed The Last Post on her trumpet.

Videos of Chamber Choir and Giselle performing can be seen by clicking on the below links.
