On Thursday 28 September, children in years 3 to 5 had a very exciting visit from author Megan Rix and her two beloved dogs. Megan gave a dynamic, interactive and thought provoking talk on topics including promotion of her new detective series, the treatment of animals throughout history and the challenges faced by those with hearing loss difficulties. To illustrate her point, her faithful assistance dogs demonstrated their clever training by picking up objects dropped by Megan, much to the children’s delight!
